Please Read before Playing Youtube Videos

When you click the “Song of the Week” video you will be transferred to YouTube.

Before you play a song in YouTube please turn AUTOPLAY OFF in the upper righthand area of the YouTube page, so YouTube will only play a song YOU CHOOSE.

 

When playing a song you can choose Full Screen or exit Full Screen by clicking the icon in the bottom right of the song window in YouTube.

 

At the end of a song you can exit YouTube to return to the Firhouse Parish website or you can opt to listen to other songs from those suggested by YouTube but please remember that other songs suggested by YouTube may not always be appropriate so you decide what you want to hear.

While in YouTube you can view ads displayed by YouTube or you can skip or click out of them after a few seconds but please remember that Firhouse Parish does not endorse any goods or services advertised on YouTube.

Bible Hub is another free online Bible search website with many translations of the Bible available. You can search by quote or by Bible reference. Available on computer and also as a free app on your phone.

Universalis.com is a free website giving Mass Readings for Sundays, Holy Days and Weekdays as well as the daily Divine Office.

Catholic Ireland free website giving Mass Readings for Sundays, Holy Days and Weekdays as well as prayers, reflections and information.

Bible Smart Phone Apps

“Guardians of Ancora” – suitable for children – free search and collect game in a Biblical setting suitable for children preparing for first communion or older.

“Bible for Kids” – suitable for children – free app giving brief bible stories spoken, printed and animated, suitable for children preparing for first communion.

“Superbook” – suitable for children – free app giving a selection of animated videos, questions, games and bible text suitable for children praparing for confirmation.

You Version Bible App is a free app you can set to give you a different, usually uplifting bible verse on your phone every morning – so you can wake up to a new quote each day.

Bible Hub free Bible search app is available on smart phones without interference from ads. You can search by quote or by Bible reference.
